Only a 10-15 minute walk from all the action, the loft is a great location and little higher up on the north end of Centro. We loved discovering little bits of the neighborhood and exploring everywhere by foot (loved the giant staircase to the auditorium). Great little food spots and Grillo had the best coffee on this trip over all. To echo others, the neighborhood isn’t exactly quiet, there’s lots of hustle and bustle between the local animals, predominantly a rooster that works around the clock, dogs a-barking and dueling kitties; nothing some silicone earplug won’t fix. The unit is well equipped with everything you need and the a/c is godsend. Bed and linen were super cozy and the kitchen has everything you need. Host was quick to respond and was very accommodating throughout our stay.

The loft at Casa lsaura was perfect for our stay in Oaxaca city. The loft itself was very comfortable for 2 people, QR codes with recommendations on what to do and where to eat were very helpful. During our stay Mariana was a very responsive host allowing us to check in early, store our bags post check out and helped us order a taxi. Would absolutely recommend the loft to a friend!

Our stay at Mariana's was absolutely perfect for our first visit to Oaxaca! It is on the fringe of the main city center, which meant a little more peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the uber touristy/busy areas, but still within walking distance (could get anywhere in under 20 minutes). Inside was spotless clean, beautifully aesthetic, comfy bed and came with an AC unit (thank god because it was getting HOT!). It was perfect for our 4 night stay, but we could have comfortably stayed for so much longer! Finally, Mariana was a superb host, always easy to reach and made getting in and out a breeze. Would recommend, and happily stay again :)

We loved staying at Mariana’s place. She was very responsive and friendly and gave clear instructions for how to find the apartment. The place itself is amazing, exactly like the photos, super stylish with very comfortable bed, good a/c and great bathroom/shower. Easy to walk to the centre and all the sights, restaurants etc. it’s a great location as it’s a little out of the centre so much quieter (apart from a rooster who liked making some noise through the night - although earplugs solved any issue!). Just be aware that it’s a small uphill walk from the centre, super easy and not far at all but a little tougher in the heat of the day! But overall we loved the place and Oaxaca and would love to stay there again if and when we hopefully make it back!

We had a great 2 day stay at Mariana’s studio. The place was even nicer than pictures showed. Mariana was more than flexible with our check in. Had a small unforeseen issue and Mariana handled immediately.
