We spent the last night of our trip at Carolina's beautiful apartment, as we wanted to be somewhere peaceful while also being within an hour of Malpensa airport. This was the *perfect* place to be. Orta San Giulio is breathtaking - unlike anywhere we'd been. And Carolina was the loveliest host: she met us at the parking lot (which you'll be parking at, for free), then walked us to the apartment while telling us about the history of the area. She also shared fantastic local tips, and walked us to the lot the next day. The room itself was sooooo beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, and was on a private little side street. I have never slept better: the bed was so comfortable and the peacefulness of the village is amazing. Grazie Carolina for being such a gracious host! It was such a joy to meet you and we hope to return soon.

Perfect location right in the centre of the old town! The garden is gorgeous and having parking included made our lives so much easier. Carolina was super responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend as an ideal base for Lake Orta!

This place is just the perfect cosy escape for a couple to enjoy the beautiful town of Orta San Giulio. In a quiet lane it was still so close to the main square and lake.

I would highly recommend staying at Casa Hari, especially if you are traveling solo and by public transport. A small, tranquil apartment and private garden located right in the heart of the old town. A short walking distance to the ferry, places to swim, restaurants and bars. I arrived by ferry from Omegna which worked really well for me. Carolina and Rosa couldn’t have been more helpful. Easy communication beforehand and I was looked after so well by Rosa on arrival and departure. If I could go back tomorrow, I would!!
