Beautiful property grounds, with lots of fruit trees. The kids loved going to see the chickens and rabbits. It was really nice waking up to a basket of fresh eggs every morning. The house is conveniently located to go up the volcano (20 min drive) and then to the Paz waterfall. The drive downtown Alajuela is about 30 - 45 min. Really good restaurants, souvenier shops and places for ocal fruits. The host is well at communicating and making sure you are enjoying your stay. Getting there is easy from the airport, and the check-in instructions are easy specially with the videos. Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful mountain country side os Cost Rica.

Our family absolutely loved staying here. The house felt brand new - everything was spotless and in perfect condition, and there were lots of things in the house to keep our kids entertained from the Foosball table to a selection of board games. The kids had a ball playing with the chickens and rabbits every morning, and the man taking care of the animals and the grounds was very friendly and always seemed happy to see them. We very much appreciated the delicious fresh eggs he gave us every day as well as the selection of welcome snacks provided. The area is gorgeous and we very much enjoyed walking around Poas Volcano and the La Paz Waterfall gardens as well just driving around the winding mountain roads up through the clouds and overlooking the countryside. There were also many good restaurants around and a lot of stores and activities that we didn't have time to explore. Highly recommended!

Really lovely place; we were very happy with it. Very serene and beautiful. Looked just like the photos. The foosball table was a lovely addition. Our son really loved the bunk bed and playground. The animal farm was also a lovely addition and my son enjoyed getting to pat the animals (Irma kindly arranged for this). We all enjoyed the fresh eggs from the farm that Villo kindly brought to us both mornings. The rocking chairs upstairs, the hammock on the terrace, and the private river were also wonderful. It was safe, clean, quiet. We also found some amazing places to eat and it was very close to both Volcán Poás as well as La Paz Waterfall. Highly recommended and would stay here again!
