The Old Granary is on a converted farm nestling in a small village in stunning North Northumberland. There are beautiful walks from the door; a short drive takes you into the Cheviot Hills or the coast. Northumberland has many places to explore - castles, islands, valleys as well as the market towns of Alnwick and Berwick. There is a gym, pool, spa, games room, play area on site with fun for all the family and free to use. The Bosk is great for meals. A place to unwind and have fun The Old Granary is on the first floor of a converted barn, accessed up an external stone staircase. Once through the front door there is a hallway with space for coats to hang up and a shoe rack. The dining area and kitchen are open plan creating a sociable feel. Leading off this area is the cosy sitting room with a log burner, 2 comfortable sofas and a window seat overlooking the garden. There is a cupboard of maps, books and games to enjoy and a TV/DVD player with plenty of dvds. Also leading off the dining room is the utility room with a washer dryer, microwave, fridge freezer etc. Down a short corridor past the light airy bathroom are 2 bedrooms; one double and one twin. Both rooms have storage. The outside garden and patio are shared with other cottages but tends to be very quiet. There's a play house for children to enjoy and plenty of space for games and picnics. Then it's a minute walk to the games room and then on to the pool, spa and the outdoor play area, tennis court and crazy golf. There is so much to enjoy :)
