Idyllically located cabin in Tinn Municipality, Telemark with a wide view over Tinnsjøen, only 15 minutes from Rjukan with its UNESCO world heritage sites. Gausta Ski Center (25 min) has plenty of cross-country and alpine skiing opportunities in the winter and hiking opportunities in the summer. The Krossobanen in Rjukan takes you straight up to Hardanger Vidda. The cabin has plenty of space for up to 8 people - 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 large living rooms with TV, terrace and balcony . We rent out our cabin to responsible guests - preferably to families with children or tourists passing through. The cabin is relatively new (built in 2004) and modern, with both a toilet, (hot) water and electricity. The cabin has a fireplace, heat pump, underfloor heating in the bathroom and in the living room/kitchen and panel ovens in the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The kitchen is well equipped with most things you have at home. There are two TV screens - both in the living room downstairs and upstairs, so that children and adults can enjoy their series/films. A bathroom on the 2nd floor is also nice to have when there are more of you. Fantastic view of Tinnsjøen from both the living room, kitchen and balcony on the 2nd floor. A large selection of board games is also available. In the stalls you will find various outdoor toys, a barbecue, a hammock, outdoor furniture as well as life jackets and oars. Down by Tinnsjøen is a small Rib-boat (for 2 people) that you can use for short trips on Tinnsjøen. Maybe you will catch some trout (remember your fishing license).
