I saw multiple insects in the room. The pillow cases did not smell good. There was no thick blanket in the room and I was so cold the first night. Then I asked for a blanket the day after and they brought it to me. When I got into the room it was so hot! I wish they had turned on the fan beforehand. There was a wall air con next to the bed but bc it was too close to the bed you could not have it on more than a few min (during the day that was hot) There are over 30 photos but there is no photo of the bathroom. The sink was not clean! The pictures look so bright but inside the house was so dark and I had to try different switches to find the ones that were actually working. The pictures gave me a drastically different vibe. The reality was so different though. The vibe was depressing. I canceled my last night and they refunded the last night. If my guests find insects in the room I would refund their whole stay. I am not sure if any of those worms have gotten into my luggage!

Unfortunately, there was a sense of unease. I should have caught on when 4 young teenagers who rented another room walked through and said “Hello we're off to prom” that it was going to be a long night. I was woken up around 1:30 am and the noise and smell of marijuana kept me up until almost 4 am. I wanted to knock on their door but I was alone and felt unsafe. I told the host that the people she rented to were minors and her response was they checked out and she could not verify their age. I asked the host for compensation with no response. Another guest that I spoke to said she was above their room and was up all night with the noise. Doesn't Airbnb have rules for renting to minors? Overall the house was a dingy, dirty rug in the bathroom, I asked for ice and it was a block, that looked like it had been melted and frozen several time, when I open the freezer draw, the inside was not clean. I’ve rented many homes and learned a lesson from this one.
