Some of the best restaurants are pretty much next door. Examples:
Hy's (best steakhouse in Whistler) is right in front.
Fine cuisine Alta Bistro is across the street.
Pizzeria Antico with great pizzas, the best selection of craft beers and best happy hour in Whistler is 200 meters away.
Caramba, another great choice with great food and excellent happy hour is 300 meters away
COWS, the famous ice cream shop is 200 meters away
Whistler library (with much more than books), the perfect option on a bad weather day is 1 minute away.

No need for a car, walk to anywhere.
Free shuttle that goes to gondola and goes around Whistler Village stops steps away from building.
Shuttles from Vancouver and the airport arrive and depart from the corner opposite from the building.
But if you need a car, Avis (the only car rental agency in Whistler) is located inside the building, rent car from the lobby and grab the vehicle from the underground garage.
