Parkhouse is set in a leafy residential area of South Belfast. Overlooking Ormeau Park, it is perfect for a relaxing stay. Ormeau Park is popular for walking and running. It hosts Parkrun weekly. Within the park there are play parks, tennis courts, basketball courts, football pitches and an indoor sport centre called The Ozone - where you can book indoor wall climbing, indoor tennis and laser quest.
Close by are the many cafes and restaurants on the Ormeau Road. perfect for foodies and families alike.
A 20 minute walk (5 in drive) will take you into the city centre past St George's Market, which hosts lively craft and food stalls on a Saturday & Sunday.
Belfast city centre has many shops, restaurants, bars, cinemas along with historical and tourist venues to visit. Belfast City Hall and Titanic Belfast are among the most popular.
From Parkhouse, a walk through Ormeau Park and across the Ormeau Bridge will take you to The Botanical Gardens, which houses The Ulster Museum and the Botanic Palm House. Both worth a visit. Queen's University is off Botanic Gardens also.

It has shops, cafes, restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk.
Lanyon Train Station is a 15-20 minute walk and Belfast City centre is around 20 minutes walk.
Although there is a bus route past the house, the buses pass more frequently on the Ormeau Road ( a few minutes walk away).
Taxis are readily available also.
