Loved the place right from start because when I got in, the whole lodge was warm and cozy. Also loved the look and feel of the place, the attention to details and the effort put in to decorate it beautifully. Quality in everything. Felt taken care of.

We stayed at those cabins before, would definitely stay again. Very nice location so close to redwood park trails.

Elk Meadows was very nice and easy to find. The only issues I had were flexibility on changing my reservation a week prior (the Airbnb message stated “no one is available for checkout process on day selected” which I thought was odd since it is self-checkout…but after messaging the host they said it just fell outside their cancellation policy), and the kitchen faucet was slightly hard to use (the arm would not move at all and when trying to move it, it felt like the whole faucet might be loose and would come out of the base if you tried very hard). Other than that, it was a nice, clean and very well located place to stay.

We loved our short stay at the Lady Bird home. I only wish it had been longer, but it gives us a great reason to come back. The place was easy to find and we felt right at home once entering. It was clean with useful amenities throughout. There is no cell service, which was expected given the location. I saw a few folks post about weak wi-fi but we had no issues so maybe it depends on what it’s used for. We found we could stream on two devices simultaneously with no issues. Email/internet were also operating fine. Our favorite moment is when we were visited late night by a curious Elk that circled the house and milled around the front yard (I watched from the window and did not go outside). The area is also a bird refuge and we were delighted to see them circling in front of the patio doors in the morning.

this was an incredible place to stay for 4 days, the beach is 8 mi away and the redwood Forest are about 2 miles away. it's peaceful and awesome and we cannot wait to come back.
