We booked Casa Santosha to test remote working with the hope of catching some sun.   It worked !   The accommodation is in a gorgeous setting, sympathetically renovated and beautifully furnished.   The lounge is beautiful and very comfortable, with all mod cons in terms of streaming services. The kitchen is lovely and well equipped with a cosy raised dining area.   But the “piece de resistance”, is the rooftop terrace area, with incredible views and a very relaxing space. A pleasure to work under the shade of the canopy.   Good WiFi reception all 3 levels, with the ability to easily hold video calls. The church bells were a great reminder that I should be working!   Salobrena is a great find and we easily stayed in the old town, with 4 great restaurants around the square.   Jane and Philippe are the most wonderful hosts, and really interesting people. Incredibly helpful for absolutely anything, and lightening responsive.   Thank you for our wonderful 10 days stay. We will be back!

Jane and Philippe are absolutely amazing hosts. Communication was always easy and we got plenty of useful tips. Their house is beautiful and it’s easy to feel at home, with all the kitchen appliances, spices etc that make cooking easy. It sits almost on top of the old town and the neighborhood is really quiet. Tip: while you do need a car (all supermarkets etc are downhill), get a small one, as the streets are really narrow and parking can be difficult.

You'd be lucky to find somewhere better to stay in Salobrena. Close to the top of the old town, right by the Castle and Church, but quiet and private. Fabulous views, especially from the lovely roof terrace. The house was very comfortable, well equiped and tastefully decorated and furnished. We loved staying here and have plans to return next year. Jane was so kind. The perfect host. She even booked us into a restaurant with a Flamenco show. Don't miss it if you get the chance to attend. Thank you Jane for such a memorable stay in Salobrena, and hopefully we'll see you again next year.

Thank you Jane for a wonderful stay in your beautiful & perfectly equipped home. We loved chilling out on your amazing rooftop in the mornings - perfect for breakfast, reading and yoga ! We found lovely walks along the coast & up in the surrounding hilly countryside. And the ‘ Bookkeeper of Salobrena’ is just the best! Thank you so much for having us :) Clare & Paul
