Escape the ordinary and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature at our 3BR/2BA home nestled by a creek just a short 1/2 mile from Sportsmans Lake, Vermilion River, Middle Fork, and all that Kickapoo has to offer. This is the ultimate haven for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a break from the chaos of everyday life. Come unwind and relax knowing you are equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay without sacrificing the rustic charm of the wilderness. There is a open kitchen/dining room with a large bar pass through to the living room and deck access to the backyard. 3 separate bedrooms with the primary offering a full bathroom. The wi-fi can be spotty but we pay for the very best available... please remember, we are in the woods!

We loved our stay over Easter Weekend. The house was exactly what was needed - loved the large kitchen and dining room. Beds were super comfortable and there was enough space for everyone. Another bonus was how close we were to Kickapoo State Recreation Area.

Comfortable home in beautiful surroundings. Thank you Bobbi for sharing your rental on Airbnb, it was a terrific alternative to a hotel room. This three bedroom + 2 bath home was an excellent base for our activities. Will definitely rent again.

We have family in the area and hope to stay there again. Next time I’m bringing my mountain bike as there are trails in the park right by it. The house was super clean. Great stay!

On Kickapoo Park with beautiful trees, creeks and easy access to everything Kickapoo has to offer. The front yard is smaller and closer to the road that leads to Sportsmans Lake, the back yard has access to the creek for exploring and some areas have a drop off down to the creek so be careful! The side yard is a large green space to enjoy. Oakwood is a short drive away for supplies, and the Kickapoo Bar & Grill is around the corner! Possum Trot restaurant is a great place for steak & seafood, and the Danville Golden Nugget Casino is about a 15 minute drive and offers a SaltGrass Steak House. Sleepy Creek Winery is a short 10 minute drive and offers a full winery with tasting room. The house is about 12 miles to Danville and about 25 miles to Champaign/Urbana.

Parking depends on the season, usually pretty easy. There are a lot of bikers, hikers and can drive most places in the park.
