Evolve is a “Superhost” which commits them to a response within an hour. They did not respond to my 6 messages left over a 3 day period which mainly accounts for the 2 star rating. The unit which is “on site” actually shares a wall with this suite. There was a distinct bad smell that never went away. There was no window A/C or blow dryer although listed as an amenity. After doing a small load of laundry, there was water all over the floor. I woke up to many ants on the stove on the last morning and there were ants in the bathroom throughout the stay. The water in the bathtub did not drain well. The description of the unit is a bit deceiving. The neighborhood is mediocre. Because my stay was in July, the place was stuffy without an A/C. Some maintenance would improve this place. The bed was comfortable and has other small conveniences. It would have made a positive difference had the host been responsive.
