Our stay at Carlo’s place exceeded our expectation, from the moment we checked in, Carlo & Paola were extremely welcoming & friendly, making us feel totally at home. The house was tastefully decorated in traditional style with very spacious rooms & all needs thoughtfully considered. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa with 4 adults & had plenty of space for us all to feel comfortable. Our favorite part of our stay was the large patio which had an amazing 180 degree view over the valley. The perfect place for afternoon aperitivo! A truly beautiful stay, thank you Carlo & Paola!

We spent 5 nights at Carlo’s agroturismo. The apartment is very spacious, with all the necessary amenities. The kitchen is very well equipped, there’s even a citrus press so you can enjoy your morning OJ on the terrace admiring the gorgeous views. Everything was spotless and the place stayed warm during the cooler nights. There’s quick wifi and a smart TV so you can also have a cozy movie night in. The estate itself is serene, I recommend a little walk to the olive grove or a longer one through the calm countryside. We loved the villages nearby with really good local restaurants. Carlo was a great host, always smiling and made sure we felt at home right away. I definitely recommend the agroturismo for a relaxing stay within driving distance to the most beautiful places in Umbria and Tuscany!

Second summer in a row we spent one week at Carlos and Paolas place. And what else can I say than it was perfect: The apartment, the garden, the pool and of course the friendly hosts which make you feel so welcome. Thank you!

Carlo was a very responsive host and keen to help with our requests prior to arriving. The property is breathtaking and the sunset views were second to none! The house was well presented and was very well equipped and charming traditional Umbrian country style which we loved! We spent a-lot of time in the pool area which was lovely with lots of loungers. The local supermarkets had plenty of fresh local produce and were very well priced especially the fantastic local wines which were delicious! The property is situated 50 mins from Montipulciano which was a great place to dine and shop. This was one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely return.

We stayed at the Emilia home at Carlo’s property. The home was stocked well, exactly like the photos, and the furnishings were very nice. There was another group staying across the drive, but we never heard them. The home was very easy to find, much easier than other homes we’ve stayed in hill towns. Carlo was a wonderful host, and we would definitely recommend!
