Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in Kalamos. Der Garten bietet viele schöne Plätze, die Aussendusche ist toll. Die Ausstattung des Hauses, z.B. in der Küche lässt kaum Wünsche offen.

We had an amazing family week in Kalamos. The cozy house, picking fresh lemons from the garden, and the refreshing outdoor shower were all a hit with my husband, two sons, and me. A short walk to the beach and the charming beachside tavern added to our enjoyment. Katerina and her parents, our hosts, welcomed us warmly and was incredibly helpful throughout. Their quick responses made everything smoother. Many thanks for this unforgettable experience.

We enjoyed our stay in this house. It was well equipped, there was everything you might need in the kitchen / bathroom / in the garden - many cosy places to relax. There were also 2 bikes and some beach equipment to be freely used. The garden was fenced so a dog could run around safely. The house is 5 minutes from local beach and within walking distance from 2 other beaches. There is no shop, the nearest one is in Argalasti 15 minutes by car, but a baker comes with his car to each house in the mornings. The whole region is perfect for those who wish to escape crowds of tourists, enjoy beaches and local food. Do not expect to find ancient monuments, but you will enjoy trips to Tsagarada or Melina or other villages. The only negatives were mosquitoes in the evenings and air-conditioning in one of the bedrooms was not working. If you have a family van, you will not get through the gate and will have to keep it 200m away. But it was OK. We can recommend the place :-)

Our stay at Katerina's was wonderful. Don't confuse "cosy" to mean small, because the cottage was of a good size, and the garden surrounding it on all sides was big and full of comfy seating and soft, considered lighting. Some AirBnB's are like a shell that are devoid of any hint of an owner, yet they are also devoid of those little items that make a place homely. Everything we needed was right here, which made our stay so much more convenient. We slept well, and enjoyed a few lazy days sitting outside in the shade reading in the idyllic garden. Beyond the cottage, there are beautiful beaches nearby with crystal clear waters and a sea that resembles a pond (being on the sheltered side of Pelion). Katerina's communications were fantastic, with extremely prompt responses to all our messages. And her hospitality was second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and highly recommend this cottage over some of the others in the area (we had friends staying in an AirBnB nearby, and their place was nowhere near as nice as Katerina's). Just be careful when parking your car as the gate is narrow and the turns are tight! Also, try using WhatThreeWords or PlusCodes to find the exact location, as G Maps wasn't sure of the exact house address.
