The property is wonderful - well appointed and tastefully decorated with a large comfortable salon and open plan dining area and kitchen. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the mezannine floor has a useful work area, should you feel the need! The location is very quiet and sitting around the heated pool (which is fabulous) you wouldn't know that you were in a built up area. There are several restaurants within driving distance (within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance if you are happy with a steep walk back); we particulalry liked the Guinguette de Saint-Avertin on the river, which is informal but fun. There are a couple of fancier restuarants, but some are closed for annual holidays in August. Tours is a 15 minute drive with easy parking and plenty to do; including a good choice of restuarants. Communication with Djamila is easy, friendly and very responsive. All in all, a great property and location. Highly recommend and would love to go back

From the point of booking, to after departure Djamila was a brilliant host. The house is absolutely beautiful and has been restored to an excellent standard. The kitchen is well equipped and the stunning living space has views out to the garden and swimming pools. The bedrooms are spacious, with extremely comfortable beds, and its remarkably quiet considering its proximity to the city of Tours. There’s loads to do within 45mins drive of the property, for all ages, but we spent loads of time around the house and in the swimming pool. I would strongly recommend the property for anyone looking for a family friendly home in the beautiful Loire Valley.

Merci beaucoup à Djamila pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Le logement est encore plus beau qu’en photo et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Les pièces spacieuses sont parfaitement bien adaptées à un groupe de 9 personnes. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Excellent week-end entre amis dans la maison de Djamila. Grands espaces chaleureux, déco soignée, équipements de qualité. Djamila est très accueillante et sympathique, de bon conseil, serviable. Localisation idéale sur les hauteurs très proche de Tours, quartier paisible. On recommande avec grand plaisir
