The area is a quiet retreat. There are many full-time residents but also several homes that are used as holiday properties, as is this one. The community is very tight-knit and also very friendly. Feel free to ask anyone for help or advice throughout your stay, but please respect their right to privacy and peace and quiet by observing “quiet hours” between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am.

The beach is a two-minute walk from the front gate of the property. There are miles of beaches in both directions to be walked and explored, each with its own terrain and swimming conditions. There are two seasonal restaurants (open May to October) and a caravan park a 5-7-minute walk away. All main amenities are also a short drive from the house, including major grocery stores (Mercadona and Consum), a tourist centre (Moncofa), and a good selection of restaurants. Xilxes/Chilches to the south has fewer amenities but has some beach bars (chiringuitos) that are open during summer months. The property is best suited for visitors with a car as there is lots to explore within the region. Free street parking is always available.
