This is a 600 sq ft suite with a kitchenette and private entrance. Note that it’s attached to the main part of our home, so you will hear the activity of our two kids. (However, it’s very well insulated.) You will enter via our unfinished garage; it’s a private entrance for guests only. It features a king bed (medium firm); kitchenette; shower with two shower heads; a small desk; heat + a/c. 15-20 minutes from the Old Port, Scarborough beaches, and the Portland airport The room is on the second floor. You will enter through a private entrance in our garage. The garage is unfinished—we promise you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you pop into the room! While you’ll have the entire suite to yourselves, kindly note that there is one shared wall with our family home. You will hear us a bit, and you’ll likely see us coming and going from the house if you look out the windows. Note: we are painting the exterior of our house in summer 2024, so you may see scaffolding and other project-related items, but your privacy will be maintained. The suite has a king bed; a kitchenette with a sink, fridge and freezer, hot water kettle, Keurig (coffee provided), microwave, silverware/plates/cups/mugs, can opener and wine opener; an en suite bathroom where the toilet is separate from the vanity/shower part. The shower has two shower heads! Kindly note that an owner’s closet is located in the space, but will be off-limits. There is also a desk w/chair, a small table and chairs for eating, and a sitting area. The room has blackout roller shades, a TV with Prime and Netflix, and a sound machine. You have control of the heat and a/c. Like many homes in Maine, we don’t have central a/c, but there is a high quality window unit in the room during the summer months. There is also a ceiling fan and air purifier. Our house has solar panels :)
