Our second time staying with Bruce and rest assured we'll be back. The location is perfect and the house was everything we needed.

Our stay at Bruce’s place was great. Lots of space, great location to walk to beach in <5 minutes. The downstairs bedroom with in-suite bath was quite nice. Both full baths were nice. The bunk beds were larger than twins which was nice. Bruce gave clear instructions before check in. The beds were comfortable. There were 2 showers, 3 toilets which was great for multiple people. I think it was a bit overpriced given it was bare essentials for staying, but I’d happily recommend any larger group to stay here, you’ll enjoy the proximity/walkability and amount of space. This Airbnb was okay and just okay. The house smelled quite old and musty. The layout made the common spaces rather uncomfortable. Lacked some basic amenities like bathroom soap. Al in all it got the job done, but I wouldn’t book it again and coming back to the house was not anything we looked forward to at the end of each day.

We had a few mishaps. No electric because of storm and transformer burning out from lightening. We called the power company and was in communication with them. The water pressure was terrible There were tiny ants all over the kitchen I probably would not stay there again. It was on the expensive side. Maureen Ulley

Overall, the place was right for what our group needed for the weekend. Pros: -Location; Close to the beach, restaurants, and the boardwalk. -Awesome outdoor grilling area. -Comfortable beds, including the two pull-out sofas. -Big kitchen/common area. -Bruce allowed us to check in a couple hours early and offered to have someone come take care of the wasp nests on the second floor balcony. -Plenty of bath towels provided. Cons: -Very bad ant issue in the kitchen. A few cockroaches. -Kitchen/Cooking supplies are very sparse. No spices, dish towels, paper towels, cutting board, tupperware, extra trash bags, countertop cleaner, grilling utensils, so I suggest planning ahead and bring all necessities. -A/C had a tough time keeping up, especially on the main level, compressor kept freezing up outside. -No king bed, all are queens or full size. Not a big deal, but we were told there was a king. -No parking pass provided; limited street parking. -No bathroom door in the master bedroom.
