This is a wonderful place for just hanging out with your family. Very family centered. There is a huge table to bring everyone together for dinner, great spaces for children to play and a fire pit and grill for getting outdoors. Very nice getaway spot.

If you are looking to be away from the city, this place is excellent, We had a great time enjoying with the family, the place is the same as shown in the photos. Mentone answered all my questions and responded quickly.

From beginning to end our experience with Mentone was next to perfect. A group of nine of us stayed in the Little River Lodge on top of the mountain. We had plenty of room inside and out and the hot tub was a bonus!!! The house was stocked with everything the listing said it was . We came down to Alabama from Indiana to visit family in the area. Will definitely be considering a return stay in the future. Thank you Mentone!

We had such an amazing stay at the Little River Lodge. The beds and accommodations were all very comfy. When you drive in one route is steep scenic rolling hills and the other route is idellic pastures full of horses and longhorns. Once in the gate you drive past the three Aframe cabins on the left and go to the big lodge on the right. The kids loved running around the fully fenced property and finding sticks and rocks and bugs. The adults loved that it felt secure and had the most peaceful and vivid starry nights. Everything worked great and was fully stocked. The host answered our questions promptly and was great. Lityle River Canyon Park is less than 10 min away, Congo Falls is 5 min away and DeSoto State Park is 30 min away. Theres beautiful hiking areas in all directions. We would highly recommend this stay to everyone.
