The Fosterton Retreat was by far one of the top Airbnb experiences we’ve had. We went in late March with a fairly large group that occupied all rooms in the house. Having a pool was the highlight for everyone, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time lazing in the pool. The fire pit was a really nice touch and again, we all enjoyed sitting around the fire at night gazing into the stars. Bronwyn and Max had provided practically EVERYTHING you need to entertain a large crowd, from cutlery and crockery, wine glasses with coloured stems so you can easily identify your glass, large pots and pans enough to cook up a meal for 10+ people, board games, DVDs, pool toys etc. The nearby river about 2.5km, bush tracks within the property, labyrinth were great nature based activities to do for those who crave for a getaway from the city bustle. Overall it’s a great place with plenty of things to do. I’d recommend going during slightly warmer months so you can enjoy the pool and river!

Fabulous place to stay for a large number of people. We comfortably had 10 adults staying. All cooking utensils provided…. And a few condiments. Privacy +++

We had a wonderful stay at Fosterton. Everything was perfect, we had everything we needed and they were so friendly. The place feels like a haven from the hustle and bustle of the world.
