Master Bedroom - What better way to start the day than picking your head up off the pillow with the sunrise and seeing spectacular views? Hop out of bed and take a couple steps out to your private master deck with a steaming cappuccino and breathe in the fresh mountain morning air. With a luxury king size bed, reading area, and full floor to ceiling tile bathroom, the master bedroom is your space for serenity Also on the second level is the Mountain room which consists of a stylish Queen murphy bed in and take the steps up to the loft to find 2 twin built in beds and another incredible view window. Also with a full ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo packed with plenty of linens. This room outfitted with games and bean bags is always a hit with the kids! The main level bedroom boasts a king sized luxe bed and full bathroom with shower/tub combo across the hall. Sip your wine on the top deck, your coffee on the middle deck, and soak in the 8 person hot tub on the lower deck! Michael's place was great. Perfect getaway with amazing views, good proximity to DuPont and Pisgah for outdoorsy people, and a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom.
Definitely five stars. Michael's home had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Very clean, plenty of towels, very comfortable beds and linens, fully stocked kitchen equipment, we even enjoyed the espresso maker! The views were amazing, the hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. There was something for everyone, from an office for the ones who had to work, to video games, to a fenced area for the dogs. Connestee Falls is amazing. The trails in the community were fantastic. Close enough to town to go in for shopping or just to hit the grocery store. We would definitely return and would be happy to stay in any of Michael's homes - he does it right!
Wonderful house with an amazing view - perfect for 2 families with 9 guests total!
This place had everything we could have wanted and more. The decor is lovely and welcoming, kitchen is fully stocked and had some key essentials such as coffee and cooking oil, the hot tub was huge and perfect for our two families. Nice view of the mountains from the deck and sunroom. Our kids and their cousins loved the loft and the garage apartment. While there’s no yard to speak of, they had fun playing ball and tag down the road by the lake. I wish we would have had more time to hike—the trails in the neighborhood were better than the nearby national forest. We visited several waterfalls on just one 2.5 mile hike including the immense Connestee falls. Half of our crew played 18 holes of golf and reported that the course was really interesting and beautiful. We love visiting Brevard—one of my favorite places and this is definitely our go-to place to stay if we have more than one family traveling with us.
This house was perfect for a spring break getaway with kids. We had two families staying together and felt right at home. Michael was an excellent host. He was extremely responsive, helpful, and respectful. I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. Highly recommend.

If you haven't visited Connestee Falls before, plan some time for exploring. Inside the gates are some of the most amazing hiking trails with waterfalls throughout and mountain views in abundance. You have access to the community swimming pool, golf course, tennis courts, pickleball, and gym. Bring your fishing rod because Lake Atagahi is a 5 minute walk down the hill where you can cast a line and catch fish. Any of the 4 lakes are available for you to fish. Atagahi Park is a 5 minute drive with an amazing swimming hole and playground for the kids. Bring a basketball and a picnic because Atagahi Park is perfect for the kids!
The roads inside the Connestee Falls gates are very well maintained, especially in the winter. We usually receive 1-3 snows per year and the maintenance crew at Connestee Falls is well known for keeping the roads very well salted and plowed. You do not need to worry about having 4WD.
