Excellent cottage- furnished to a very high standard and well-equipped. In very attractive village with beautiful walks from the door. Communications from Caroline were extremely good and it was very helpful that she allowed us to have an early check-in.
You will not be disappointed! We have thoroughly enjoyed our Easter break at Acacia Cottage and will definitely be back. The cottage is beautiful, and had everything we needed to make our stay very relaxing. The local community is very friendly with a lovely community shop and we enjoyed an amazing meal at the The Fetherston Arms. A great location for visiting the surrounding area, which is beautiful. Thank you Caroline!
Great place to stay. Comfortable, clean and superior quality fittings. Good communication with Caroline and well furnished kitchen.
We had the most wonderful stay at Acacia Cottage. It is by far THE BEST appointed cottage we have ever stayed in. The cottage is tastefully decorated, was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen - wow! We love to cook and doing so in this kitchen was a dream. It has great quality appliances, sharp knives and every piece of cooking equipment you could possibly imagine you’d need is there! We enjoyed a few drinks in the Fetherston Arms and fantastic walks in the Eden Valley including one from the door up to Long Meg. The log burner was a bonus too, easy to use and incredibly efficient at heating the cottage in the evenings. I cannot recommend staying here enough, it was truly a 5 star cottage and we would love to return. Thank you Caroline!
