Lovely place where you can relax and unwind!
Hackle Lodge was fantastic! Peaceful and private with incredible views from the patio and rooms. We had a wonderful stay during the festive period. The house is spacious and cozy with a well-equipped kitchen. An inverter is also installed so no load shedding concerns. Angela was the perfect host, friendly, and always available if required. Detailed information on the house, and surrounding area was also provided. The Kloppenheim estate also provides a wide variety of activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, and an excellent restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The lodge is highly recommended!
Angela was so friendly and very good at communicating. She wasn't to ensure you were right at home. Her house is so beautiful, plus the most outstanding views! Wish we stayed longer... we will be back! Thank you so much Angela!
Overall a good stay. Needs better heating in bedrooms for winter.
Hackle Lodge was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful place with many fishing areas. Kitchen was well equipped. Home had a inverter so we were not affected by loadshedding which was a pleasure. Views are incredible. We saw some game from the lodge. Easy to get to. Angela kept us informed every step of the way. Would highly recommend this lodge to any big family or a group of friends. Would definitely return.
