When you open the door and enter the home, you’ll immediately be greeted by beautiful forest views in the backyard and a view of the two separate living spaces. Although the main floor is fairly expansive, the warm colors and wood ceilings provide a sense of coziness and comfort that will wipe away any stresses that may have followed you up the mountain. To your right is a mid century conversation set centered around a large wood burning fireplace. The fireplace has gas assist, so you won’t need to struggle to get a fire going! To the left you’ll see the spacious kitchen with all the amenities you need to prepare a delicious meal and enjoy quality time with friends and family. In the rear is the main living space with a vintage sectional, a mid century bar cart, and a 75” smart TV. The second floor is home to all of the bedrooms and a separate loft area with a sitting area and a workstation. The ceilings upstairs are very tall and make the bedrooms and loft feel grand. As you walk through the house, there are many subtle luxuries and design elements to enjoy. There is a large assortment of custom art pieces and Peter Lik photography; at times giving the feeling of being in an art gallery. The duvet covers on the beds are West Elm and filled with luxury goose down inserts. The mattresses are all exceptionally comfortable and each room has white noise machines to help you sleep peacefully through the night. For entertaining there is a Sonos speaker system that can be moved around the house, filling the space with your favorite music. To summarize, the house looks like a cabin, but feels and lives like a primary home. This is not your average mountain getaway.
