Our little house is only 8 minutes' drive from the beautiful Balnarring and Somers beaches where dolphins can quite often be seen. Just a few minutes' drive will have you at some of the best wineries on the mornington peninsula or into Hastings where there is a lovely foreshore to walk and bbq. HMAS Cerberus is only a 2 minute drive away. The Little House is on our 3.5 acre property where we also live. The house is fully and privately fenced. There are 2 outdoor areas, one with a chimenea ready for you to sit by and enjoy a drink after a busy day exploring the peninsula. We have 2 sheep,4 baby doll sheep, 5 chooks and 2 deer (yes deers) that are happy to be hand fed. You could wake up to the sound of cockatoos in the morning. There is a small fenced dam, so children must be supervised outside at all times. Our hens will provide fresh eggs and I will provide milk, bread and butter for the first mornings breakfast. There is a herb garden for you to pick from and you are welcome to pick fruit and vegetables in our vegetable garden. The sofa be in the lounge is available on request. Please let me know in advance , so as I can make sure that the linen is supplied for you.

We had a lovely time at “little house”! We absolutely adored feeding and interacting with all the animals (especially the deer, which we had never seen before in real life!). Would happily stay here again, felt right at home 😊

I stayed for a very enjoyable couple of nights at Kaye’s place with my older sister . It was without a doubt one of the nicest ( and best provisioned !) air b n b places that I’ve ever stayed in . Kaye had obviously thought of just about everything and the cottage was beautifully decorated with comfy functional furniture. The provisions Kaye had stocked the fridge with were very welcome because it saved us having to rush off to the shops to stock up on the basics and the coffee pods that Kaye provided were exceptional. The peaceful rural setting with sheep walking past the windows certainly created a very relaxing atmosphere. We look forward to the next family occasion when we can hopefully stay at Kaye’s cottage again . Thanks very much for a lovely stay Kaye ! Regards Mike

Nothing less than a perfect stay. So much attention to detail in furnishing, decor, amenities - Kaye provided everything that one could possibly need, and more. Breakfast provisions were wonderful, the freshest eggs I’ve ever had. Beds and linen were gorgeous, great quality towels, tableware and cooking utensils too. But what truly sets this homestead apart were the lovely green surroundings and the animals. The kids had such a great time feeding the sheep. We had the pleasure of meeting Kaye and her daughter briefly and they were very warm. You just know it when a host sincerely cares about her guests having the most memorable stay! Thank you!

This is the second time we have stayed at Kaye’s place. The little getaway is so lovely - extremely clean and very comfortable. Our daughter loved seeing the deer and sheep from the garden and feeding them. The place is very close to wine tasting in Red Hill and restaurants in neighboring areas. Very peaceful area and private. Kaye is a thoughtful host who was very quick to respond. We will definitely keep coming back - a gem of a listing !
