Very nice and comfortable villa

An outstanding villa with superb outdoor space and large spacious and comfortable rooms. Children loved exploring it. Pool is exceptional. Lovely location with mountain and sea views. Communication with Vasilis and Magdalena was also outstanding. They respond almost immediately to all your questions and issues with great professionalism and good humour. Best I’ve known in 40 years of coming to Greece. Shops and tavernas are not on the doorstep but are not any great distance and a car is necessary - or two in a big group like ours. In conclusion, the joy of coming out each morning into the wonderful outdoor areas will stay with me for a long time. Villa Metaxas is a lovely place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely amazing villa. Everything about it, from the building itself to the maintenance, to the hosts is brilliant. We went here with two families, including four small children all under 3. Here's what I'd say about that experience. - There is a lot of lovely furniture and decorations that you should be prepared to move out of the way when you arrive. I would have thought that Vasilis and Magdelena would be more than happy to do this in advance of your trip if you ask them. - Vasilis and Magdelena were kind enough to provide high chairs and travel cots without being asked - The playground is really nice, there are a pair of very well-built swings, and a nice slide and gravel pit. It is astroturfed so easy to play in - The swimming pool is not shuttable, so you need to keep an eye on your little walkers when they're outside! There is a selection of pool toys and balls as well. - Lovely soundproof house - most rooms you can't hear from any other rooms. However baby monitor signals get attenuated throughout the house, so we spent quite a bit of time indoors so we could listen out for the monitor. - The grounds are ENORMOUS which is great from a point of view of the kids having lots to do (there's a football pitch, a little "adventure area", a playground, and the pool), but can be exhausting if you need to supervise them all the time...! It is impossible for them to get out onto the road though by themselves, so that is something. - The nearest shops are a 5-10 minute drive away, but once you're there you can find anything you want, including a playground and a beach. The large shops are closed on Sundays, but there are small, well stocked shops that stay open. Come stay here! You'll love it!!!

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Der Pool ist super. Die Aufteilung ist durchdacht und Martha und John sind unbeschreiblich. Leider ist das Haus in die Jahre gekommen und man merkt, dass kein Geld ins Haus gesteckt wird. Das ist wirklich schade und beeinträchtigt das Urlaubserlebnis. Es sind zu viele Dinge kaputt oder nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Das ist zum Teil sogar so schlimm, dass Verletzungen nicht ausgeschlossen sind.
