great place to stay in taipei, functional ac in every room and kitchens on both floors so you can cook some normal food. location is a bit of a miss but not too bad. Moe is responsive and friendly~~ Overall, would stay again if were to visit Taipei once more :)

Moe was SO kind and helpful, really went above and beyond! Very spacious room, blackout curtains, super comfortable bed. Also love the neighbourhood. Overall would definitely recommend - but just be aware that there is no elevator.

It's a two-story housing located at the 5th and 6th floors in an old-fashioned apartment. The listing includes a total of 5 rooms for rent, and the tenants would share two sets of kitchens, a living room, a dining room, and a laundry machine and a drying machine. The check-in process is old-fashioned as well: you meet with the host at an appointed time to pick up the keys to the apartment and the room, and get a quick guide to the apartment and the room. Location wise, it's probably the best spot you can think of in terms of exploring Taipei and/or food options, assuming you have a motorcycle or is good at getting the Ubike, since it's not close to any of the MRT station. For food, try 延三觀光夜市 and 寧夏夜市 at night, and 大稻埕慈聖宮廟口美食 and 永樂市場 during the day. In terms of the room A itself, the room comes with more storage than any Airbnb I've stayed at and a private bathroom. It also comes with an AC without heating option, so one may consider getting a small heater.

Spacious room and common areas. The place is cozy and well-maintained. Internet is blazing fast. Moe is a great, friendly host. I had a great stay and would definitely stay there again!
