The Bach is a modern and newly built separate and detached abode which sits in our quiet backyard. Designed as a 2 bedroom self-contained 'granny flat', it is perfect to host a couple or small family with 1 queen and 2 single beds. The fully kitted open-plan kitchen serves to the lounge and TV area, which then opens out to the wide and spacious patio to create a terrific indoor to outdoor flow. With Pottsville Beach only 200m away this is the perfect spot for a getaway with friends or family! Guests of The Bach will be greeted on arrival by their hosts, Petra and Jason, who will show them to their accomodation which is nestled away in the back yard. The newly built 60m² granny flat makes the most of the space, where it extends across the rear of the property to allow for plenty of sun and room on the lawn in front of it. Please be aware that we live and operate our allied health clinic in the main house at the front of the property. Our patients will be using the carpark during business hours and the side pathway to access the clinic at the rear of the house. You might even like to book in with one of our Chiropractors or massage therapist during your stay. Guests will have full access to our outdoor lawn area and carpark at the front of the property, these areas are shared spaces. There is also plenty of on-street parking should the carpark be full. The Bach consists of: ⌂ Main bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, side tables, lamps, wardrobe and table. ⌂ Second bedroom with two stylish single beds, a shared side table and lamp. ⌂ Open-plan kitchen with a Smeg oven/cooktop, Smeg dishwasher, Samsung fridge and modern appliances. ⌂ Bright living area with a comfy sofa and Smart TV. ⌂ Spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet. ⌂ Ducted air conditioning in all bedrooms and living areas. (Installed in October 2023, so not pictured in photos) ⌂ Covered patio with outdoor table and seating, and a Weber gas BBQ. ⌂ Laundry with a Samsung Bubble Wash and steam capable washing machine, and outdoor north facing clothesline. The bathroom is fully stocked. Linen and bath towels are provided, as are beach towels. High speed wireless internet is provided to The Bach from StarLink satellite internet. We are just a 13 minute walk from the Pottsville township, where you can find a number of cafe's, restaurants (dine-in and takeaway), medical centres, a butcher, the local IGA and general store, Australia Post, a health food store and newsagent, hardware store and a pair of bottle shops. The Pottsville Markets are also held during the first and third Sunday's of the month. Directly across the road is the Pottsville Sports Club (Bowls Club), where you can find a restaurant and bar with regular live music. It's also a great place to take the kids with a very spacious and fenced playground area around the beer garden. It's an easy 2 minute walk to the beach, where there are plenty of waves and fish to catch! For something calmer you can't go past Mooball Creek on a good day (a 10 minute walk). Nearby you have the well-known Cudgera Creek at Hastings Point. There's also Cabarita Beach, with its sheltered cove and stunning headland, where you can view the whales jump during their migratory season. Byron Bay is just 20 minutes south and Tweed Heads/Coolangatta is just 20 minutes north by car. There's plenty to do and see in between too!
