Pátzcuaro · 民居里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Casa Catrina B&B Queen (Breakfast included)
Stay with us and enjoy a private room located very close to the center (0.4 miles - 8 minutes walk), but far enough away to have a good night sleep, away from traffic and noise. The area is quiet. Breakfast is included. We have secure parking inside the private street. We have a view of the lake on the shared terrace. We love to receive guests from all over. We will be at your service to provide the best experience, answer questions and give recommendations. Casa Catrina B&B is our home that we happily share with guests visiting Patzcuaro. We have two guest rooms, one with a queen bed and one with two double beds, each with a private full bathroom. When you decide to stay at our B&B, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast (included in the cost of your stay) that we arrange with you the night before (we take into account your preferences, allergies or dietary restrictions when deciding what to serve). In addition, you will have the option to use the common areas, highlighting the terrace on the third floor overlooking Lake Patzcuaro and the mountains of the area. If you are a plant and animal lover, this is your space! We have plants all over the property, inside and out. Our pet, Miel, is a very sweet and well-behaved dog, who likes to be with our guests (although she has her own space, in case you don't feel like being near her). The property is located 0.4 miles from Plaza Vasco de Quiroga, the main square in downtown. Walking to the plaza is easy (7 -10 minutes) and the path is downhill. The walk back up is a little slower because it is uphill, but the heavy part is short and easy to walk with breaks. Also, there are cabs that are cheap and can help you get back if you don't feel like walking. If you come by car, the access is very easy from the highway. We are about 12 minutes by car from the general dock, where you can take a boat to visit Janitzio or the other islands in the lake. Patzcuaro is a place where landscapes, flavors, sounds and customs of the people of this lake region mix. It is a magical town where the Purepecha tradition blends with the colonial heritage of Mexico, reflected in its streets and portals. This city offers a great gastronomic variety with its regional dishes from the state of Michoacan, as well as fusions with the most contemporary cuisine, from the Tarascan soup to the traditional corundas; the amount of different delicacies with origin in corn and the different salsas and stews never ceases to amaze. What was once an enclave that served as an exchange point for the different towns during the colonial period, today maintains this tradition and is a place where we find textile, copper, basketry and wood crafts, to name a few, made by artisans and masters from the towns surrounding Lake Patzcuaro. Its proximity to these, also allows the city of Patzcuaro to be a starting and resting point to explore places like the island of Janitzio, archaeological sites such as Tzintzuntzan and Ihuatzio, the Santa Clara del Cobre workshops, Santa Fé de la Laguna, Lake Zirahuen and other towns near and adjacent to the lake. We want your visit to be incredible, whether exploring each of these tourist attractions or simply enjoying a coffee in the Vasco de Quiroga plaza to the sound of the Pirekuas and the Danza de los viejitos (dance of the old men). So come on, Patzcuaro is waiting for you!
