Excellent location in a non-touristic fisherman’s village with tons of great restaurants serving fresh fish from that days catch. Just 3 km from gaia, Porto, and 5’ walk to the Douro river which we did most evenings. There was a 25 euro tax that we did not expect because it was not explained in the site. We recommended ahead of time add it. Also parking was difficult. We parked in a lot and our car got towed because of a Féria happening on Saturdays. Make sure you pay close attention where you park!!! Might be good to add to website also? Not our hosts fault at all.

We had an amazing time at Catarina’s place. Everything went smooth, the apartment is stylish, clean, comfortable and quiet and the neighbourhood a real delight. A great base to enjoy the city and the sea and nature, too. Thank you, Catarina for an immaculate experience!
