Very easy gentle man to organize with, everything was as described by Mal. Extremely easy to just walk in and relax, the atmosphere and art in the house is unusual but welcoming. Once settled in and down to the beach front you are met with the WOW factor, looking forward at the beautiful blues of the ocean and the islands then turn around to see the majestic home you are staying in , we really had it all for a wonderful long weekend . Fishing was great just out the front , no boat no worries!! Mal supplied ocean kayak and out to the reef we went. After then back for a dip in the pool and settled with relaxing cold brew n meal over looking all under the watchful eyes of the resident kookaburras. We would love to book again soon. Disappointed as house is looking tired, kitchen cabinet doors broken, fly screens missing, fixtures broken and timber decks need painting. On arrival found cleaners didn’t clean outside areas including pool and rubbish everywhere. House is vey cluttered with objects and is quite dusty. Lots of furniture in photos is not in the house anymore such as lounge of deck, it’s been replaced with a cheap alternative. Lounge in lounge room also different and quite stained. Also didn’t realise a house is located at rear of property and shares driveway as this is not disclosed. Otherwise the location on the beach which is just beautiful. Very overpriced we won’t be back

If you are looking for something different and a unique stay we highly recommend Mal’s place. The pool was an added bonus and the location was absolutely beautiful. Mal gave us privacy but checked in regularly to make sure all was going smoothly and we were enjoying our stay!

Amazing location with great ocean views. Very peaceful spot. House is pretty interesting with lots of interesting African art and the kids loved the plunge pool. Mal was a lovely host.

We felt most welcome at Mal’s , it was private and Mal left us to our own Devices but was on hand if needed, the house was so different and absolutely amazing…. Simply stunning…the views were beyond beautiful, the bed very comfortable, quiet relaxing peaceful and we felt at home. All things provided to make our stay easy from washing powdered to coffee to sauces ect ect … we loved our stay it was a once in a lifetime experience.
