Critters, Creatures, and Bugs Oh My… Make no mistake friends, this cabin is in the forest. Critters are a given and love an easy shelter, especially if it comes packed with food. The best way to keep camp comfy, cozy, and critter free, is to keep the screen doors closed and always clean up food debri.
The cabin is a great place to use as a home base for adventures around Northern Vermont. Whether skiing at Jay, leaf peeping, or in our case, eclipse viewing. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and perfect for us!
This little cabin in the woods was just the retreat we needed! Big windows allowed us to take in the beautiful view even when we were snowed in! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and spacious entryway. One of my favorite parts was the intentionally curated bookshelf. I snuggled in on a futon and read an entire book in one day. Rested and recharged. Thank you!
Great place! Was a short drive to Jay Peak even in bad weather where there was a 28” dump on the mountain.
Our family of four had a great time at the cabin. We were there to mainly ski at Jay Peak and enjoy the activities there. The home was warm, comfortable, and private. Nice outdoor space for the kids to explore in the backyard. Everything was as listed and worked well. We visited during some intense weather conditions (50s during day and high of 7 with a -21 windchill and snow the next ) and the road to the cabin would be best suited o have a 4 wheel drive vehicle in these conditions, but I am sure that was listed in the details. This also made the entryway very slippery but it was a short walk to get into the comfort inside and they informed us of the icy conditions. No tv, but WiFi worked great and lots of games to keep busy. Thanks again for having us!
We absolutely adored Jeffrey’s cabin! It was the perfect base camp to set up at and head out to our Winter excursions to Jay (15-20), Stowe (about an hour), Waterbury (a lil more) Burlington (90) and St. Albans (75). Clean, warm, and thoughtfully and tastefully adorned - exactly what you think of when you think of a Vermont camp! Very responsive, great experience.
4WD or AWD is reccomended during winter season
