An absolutely wonderful experience! The apartment is beautiful and elegant, and there are some amenities (such as the television and the book collection) and decorations that aren't seen in the photos and that add to the warm and welcoming feeling of the place. Everything was spotless. The apartment is on the fifth floor, with an elevator, so it's sunny and quiet, since the street noise doesn't reach it. The area is busy, full of shops and restaurants, and felt very safe to walk through, even at night. What really stood out for me was the check-in process: Aldric, Ivan's friend, made sure to contact me before my arrival, offered guidance and recommendations, and even made an effort to meet me earlier than the regular check-in hour, so that I could drop off my baggage. He was incredibly kind and helpful, explaining how to get inside the building and into the apartment, showing me where everything was, ensuring the apartment had been cleaned, etc. It truly made the experience lovely!

Very professsional and courteous communications and as advertised ! The location is especially convenient for those arriving at Gare du Nord. The street feels safe and is neat - much improved over what is was many years ago. The Fromagerie on the ground floor is excellent - very good service and advice by the boss. And the strong cheese smell luckily doesn't reach the fifth floor. Very clean, equipment is new and works well, nice bathroom, lots of light in living area. Some good restaurants within 10 to 15' walking distance - f.ex. Les Canailles and Frenchie Pigalle. Two comments : the (very small) elevator is in dire need of refurbishment. And we may have been lucky to have been there during the Christmas Holidays - there was no building work at the construction site right across the street. Ivan and Aldric were flexible and cared about us having a good time - great hosts, warmly recommended.
