The historic center of La Ciotat is located within the old city walls and consists of countless picturesque alleys with its cobblestone streets that exude a Mediterranean charm.
Just a few steps from the apartment you will find Place Sadi Carnot with its colorful facades that will make you feel like you are in Italy and also more than 120 stores, cafés and restaurants that are happy to welcome you all year round. The old harbor opposite the apartment invites you to take a stroll.
Just a few steps from the port of La Ciotat and 10 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes from the Mugel & Figuerolles coves, you have everything within reach to spend a very nice stay.
Enjoy the wonderful weekly Sunday market and the Tuesday market on Place Evariste Gras , both markets in the immediate vicinity.
In summer, the night market covers the entire old port.
Jazz concerts on the square liven up the hot summer evenings.
The shuttle to the beautiful green island opposite, the Isle Verte, is located directly below the apartment.
The entire historic center is a car-free zone, with the exception of the delivery service for goods before 10 am. You can get around perfectly on foot, by bike or scooter.
The bus station is located at the very end of the old port, on Boulevard Anatole France, in front of the tourist office.

If you're coming by car, you can access the INDIGO VIEUX PORT parking lot with a parking card given to you on arrival.
Here are the steps to follow to park your car and bring your luggage to the apartment:
1. park at the Verdun parking lot (171 Bd de la République, 13600 La Ciotat) near place 2070 (2nd floor EXIT Place Esquiros). You can park for free for 1 hour.
2. drop off your suitcases and all your belongings in the nearby apartment.
3. in the apartment, you have a card for the INDIGO Vieux Port parking lot (Bd Andrẻ Bertolucci, 13600 La Ciotat), which you can use free of charge during your stay. There are no assigned parking spaces, but you can park anywhere.
Use your parking card at the entrance and exit barriers.

If you lose your card, you will be charged a CAUTION of €60.
At check-out, you must leave the card on the table in the apartment and not take it away by mistake.
There are also 4 large pay parking lots: 3 underground and 1 along the new port, all 5-10 minutes from the apartment.

If you arrive by public transport:
From La Ciotat-Ceyreste SNCF train station, take local buses to the bus station in the town centre (vieux port or Gare Rutiere), then walk for 3 minutes along the Old Port and the old church. Or take the Voie Douce, from the station : 45 minutes walk to the accommodation.
