Really happy with my find in Darling Point! The apartment had everything I needed—comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a parking space in the basement, which was a huge plus. It's an older building but don't let that fool you; the place is full of charm, comfortable and in a great location. Plus, it’s just a quick walk to Edgecliff station and nearby shops. Great spot for anyone looking for a comfy stay in Sydney.

The stay was 19 days for post-operative recovery. Not there to be out every day and night but definitely to go out at various times. For 4 stars the amenities available would need to match what is listed on Airbnb and what one might expect where the listing emphasises that: “The apartment is set up for the purpose of longer term only”. For longer term it would be reasonable to expect that there would be an iron to go with the ironing board; that the kitchen would have more than one saucepan with lid, have some food storage containers and more than 2 wine glasses. There would be a broom to do a bit of self-cleaning. The kitchen light bulbs would be functional (or there would be spare lightbulbs). Some things were attended to but not all.. The faulty oven died on day 6 and was replaced on day 17. It was difficult to have family and friends in to eat rather than go out. We were made to feel fortunate to have it replaced – (and no mention from the owner of even token compensation).

While the apartment is very well situated, the description of the property is misleading and deceptive. This is NOT luxury, majestic or executive. It is a tired apartment (80’s I assume) in a poor state, with cheap and/or broken furniture, stained carpets and chairs and very old fittings. The apartment is seemingly managed by a company as a rental property and as such the focus is on maximising returns with seemingly very little investment. The bathroom was an embarrassment with stained joints, flaking paint work, a light falling and a rusty toilet brush. The lounge ottoman table was worn with torn fabric and the ancient armchair was covered by a blanket as it was ripped and old. The apartment was not cleaned properly and we had only one set of keys. Very disappointed with both host and Airbnb as this was not what was advertised and was certainly not what was paid for. In fact the experience was so bad that I will not be using Airbnb again. Happy to share photos if anyone has any doubt

Sleep & Co were great hosts with clear communication and a fast response time. The property itself was lovely and we had a great stay.
