Welcome to Big Sky Country with fabulous sunrises and sunsets everyday. My 35 acres sit at 7500 ft elevation with 360-degree views for miles around, including view of the snow-capped Uintas. No neighbors. Starry skies, red cliffs, sage seas, junipers, howling coyotes: the Wild West at its best. Pull in your RV or pitch a tent.

This was a wonderful site. It was great to get away from the crowded frontcountry campgrounds. Completely private, we didn’t see anyone else around. Beautiful country and soo many stars at night. We will be back next time we are in this part of the country.

Area is accessible by car.
To get here, print out directions in advance. You may lose cell signal on drive in.
1) From Hwy 150 (Mirror Lake Scenic Byway), turn left on County Rd 173 near Sulphur Creek Reservoir.
2) Follow County Rd 173 for a few miles. Most of it will be dirt road. Just drive slowly as it can be rutted or washer board bumpy in places.
3) Turn left at Painted Rock Road. At fork, stay left (DO NOT turn on Singing Wolf Road). Follow Painted Road Road for a half mile.
4) At Signal Ridge Road, turn right.
5) Go 1/4 mile and turn left on Wakara Road.
6) Go 100 ft. RV camp site is on left by juniper with disco ball (to reflect headlights at night for evening arrivals).
If tenting, park wherever. My property is to the west (left) of Wakara until the hairpin turn in the road.
Bring your hiking poles, horses or ATVs. Lots of country to explore.
