La maison de Caterina est très agréable et nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Elle est spacieuse, bien agencée, le décor est très personnel, la cuisine très bien équipée et il est plaisant d'y préparer de bons petits plats italiens. La terrasse donnant sur le jardin est immense et ombragée ce qui est appréciable en Italie en été (ainsi que l'air conditionné). L'emplacement de la maison permet de visiter les plus beaux sites de la région de Piacenza à Bologne, sans oublier les montagnes de l'Apennin qui offrent de merveilleux paysages. Quant à Caterina c'est une hôte charmante, très disponible avec laquelle il est toujours facile et agréable de communiquer.

My husband, our two dogs and I had a lovely time in Caterina’s mother's house. The house has everything you could need (sans a big oven) including A/C and an amazing wrap around patio with plenty of outdoor seating. The area is not a tourist destination which means there is plenty of local flavor. Plus, it's a great spot to explore Emilia Romagna (Parma, Modena, Bologna and more). We spent most of the time on short day trips and cooking at the house in the evening. Also, if you're in the area, we recommend checking out La Reserva (in Casalgrande) for an amazing meal.

Caterina is a very warm, friendly host and made us feel welcome right from the start! She speaks Italian, German, French and English and offered great suggestions of what to see and do in the area. Her mother's home is large and richly decorated with souvenirs from all her travels. It is ideally located in a quiet village within two hours' drive of most sights in the region. Thanks Caterina for being such a great host and making our Italian holiday such a memorable one!

Because we booked at a very late moment, Caterina was very helpfull to host us fast. The house is spacious and cool, with a great garden and view. It's near a hill, shops, 2 swimmingpools and the motorway, so you can easily travel to greater city's.
