Michael’s place is awesome. It’s private, clean, well-equipped, and has lots of space. I went with a friend for a local road race, and we often went to Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel. It was a breeze to get around. There’s a driveway if you bring a car (which we did), but also noticed there’s a $2 bus that passes right by the house that goes to Cannery Row, which is awesome. So, while it may be on a quiet street a little further from the middle of the action, it’s very easy to get where you need to go — with a car or without. We also really enjoyed the local taco/burrito spot that’s steps from the house, and the bike trail along the coast (by Target and many other amenities). Overall, a truly great place to stay and would definitely stay here again!

Michael’s place was immaculate and charming. It was cozy and felt like home. It had all the amenities we needed, and I liked how a lot was labeled (i.e., the shelves in the kitchen and laundry room), making things easy to find. We stayed here to attend my cousin’s wedding near Old Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey, and it was around a 10 min drive. It’s an even shorter drive to the nearest beach. I like that it is super close to a grocery store, Target, and other shops in case you forgot anything at home. Just FYI, this place was perfect if you have just one car because you have a guaranteed spot in the driveway, but an additional car might possibly have to park a little further as many neighbors also park on the street.

Beautiful property, close to the beach, safe neighborhood, and the aquarium/downtown Monterey was a 10 minute drive. It was sparkling clean and had all listed amenities that were perfect for my family, as well as our 3 month old daughter. Very family friendly rental. Would stay again!

Typical Airbnb. Clean and as advertised. The host was responsive and we had no issues. Easy access to Monterey and surrounding areas. The two minor heads up I’d give: the house is in a corner lot below the sidewalk on one side so the backyard has no privacy. And the couch is wildly uncomfortable. If you don’t need the couch or the yard it’s good value for the money.

Very nice modern bungalow with a beautiful Californian style garden. Kitchen was great and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Very convenient shopping nearby. Only 15 mins from the 17 mile drive too.
