DOMUS Valentina Salina is the home where sea, sky and earth come together in a single space, with an amazing spectacular overlooking . The Domus Valentina has two charming independent apartments, one for each floor, garden terrace and veranda with hammock, and hanging chairs in front the sea and Panarea and Stromboli. Suggestive panorama breathtakingly.The apartment is near the beach, the night life, pubblic transport and family activities. The appartment is for couple and families with kids. SEA - SWIMMING The sea is just a 3 minutes walking, just down the Domus Valentina, where you can swim and you can rent boat, motorboat. If you want to go to the famous Scario beach, you have to walk 7 minutes from Domus Valentina. Bring comfortable walking shoes and shoes for walking on the stones (in the sea), as well as hats and a high solar protection. Trekking Domus Valentina is in Malfa and Malfa is in the Island of Salina, that is called the “green pearl”, it has the richest vegetation of the whole archipelago, making it an unmissable destination for all the lovers of the nature. In spring the nature awakes from the winter’s sleep, which takes its train, leaving place to perfumes , intense colours and all the greens, turning out to be the ideal season to fully enjoy the sparkling nature. If you love the mountain, you can have trekking, doing excursions to the Fossa delle Felci craters, and to the Monte dei Porri, and the suggestive Brigantino path. Various walks can be done on the Island. The excursion takes more o less 2-3 hours.

the terrace/garden is amazing and the views are outstanding. the appartment was very packed (as shown in the pics), but on the other hand you got all you need. the downside was the construction of the port right below: 7 days, 12+ hours a day, noises, bad sleep… i haven‘t seen that in the description, my fault. i‘d come again, once the port is finished 🤪

Carmelo was very polite & great to deal with and the apartment is decked out in a beautifully rustic way however it is located very close to a port under construction so get woken at 0630-0700 every morning with construction noise which can include jackhammering until 1700. We were expecting 2 bedrooms however there is only one with two single beds located in the living space. If you want a second bedroom you have to also rent the other apartment downstairs - not really clear from the description. There aren’t 4 beds either - a double in the bedroom and two singles in the living room.

If when you read the description and view the photos you are pleased enough to add this place to your favorite's list....just book it. Antonella, who I interacted with, was very proactive and accommodating. There was a technical glitch with the qr code check-in but she was extremely responsive and resolved the matter immediately. It is located in walking distance to the key areas. A look at a map may confuse you as everything is much closer than it seems. It's location just out of the actual center made for quiet and peaceful nights. The views from the terrace are as seen in the photos and, if you're lucky like us, you may just catch a marital photo shoot. Of note, it's a walkup so not suitable for those who may have physical challenges with stairs. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic stay! The property was stunning and the views are unmatched. The outdoor area was a particular standout feature for us. Valentina and her husband Carmelo were super responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The only downside was the construction down at the marina started early in the morning but that didn't really bother us as we were up early to explore and check out everything Malfa has to offer. Would recommend and stay again.

TRASPORT
Malfa is 7 kilometers far from Santa Marina Salina (the main port of the Island) and 10 kilometer from Rinella (the other port).
To go to our villa and to move from the villa, visiting the Island, it is possible to use public bus (CITIS) good and cheap transport service, or to take a taxi or to rent a car or a motobike.
About the public transport (CTIS), there is a stop just in front the entrance of the villa.
