Our trip to Chocowinty was planned around out daughter's White Coat ceremony at ECU SoDM. We were looking for a place that our large family and friends could gather to share in this special occasion. The house was perfect in every way. The kitchen was over and beyond supplied with amazing and beautiful cooking utensils and dinnerware. This was the perfect place for family to gather and celebrate!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the house and yard. We loved being able to spread out in the many bedrooms, sit and play outside by the river, and use the many swings to relax in the cold. We appreciated having cornhole to play and loved the quiet, peaceful neighborhood for walks. Communication with the host was good as we did have a few issues with cracked tiles on the kitchen floor upon arrival and a smoking oven when trying to cook dinner though we found solutions for each that did not greatly affect our stay. We would absolutely stay here again. Beds were comfortable, the 2 heating/a-c systems were great, and the kitchen was large and fully stocked. The sunrise in the morning is not to be missed

The home was absolutely perfect. The bedrooms were a roomy, the living room was comfortable, the outside spaces were fantastic, the neighborhood was peaceful and the neighbors friendly, the kitchen was spacious for a large group. We were there celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday and she very much enjoyed it ….. though the stairs could have been a bit much! LOVE the proximity to Washington!
