This spacious 2300+ sq ft Mid-Century Modern 4-bedroom home has a deck overlooking the pine trees and mountains to the west, 2 kitchens and a 2-car parking lot. Accommodates 8 guests with 3 queen beds and 2 twin beds. Just a short walk to bus routes (120, 128 and 131), parks, and a great neighborhood coffee/corner store. By car, 14 minutes to Alki beach, 14 minutes to Sea-tac Airport, 14 minutes to T-Mobile Park and Century Link Field, 17 minutes to the Space Needle and Pike Place Market. This charming and light-filled 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home (including master bedroom with ensuite bathroom) has sunny western exposure with tons of natural light, kitchen/laundry facilities, private front yard and patio to enjoy your morning coffee and back deck to watch the sunsets. Many Mid-Century Modern features have been maintained. Fully fenced-in backyard with raspberry bushes ripe for picking in the summer, plenty of space to run around or hang out, and a corn hole set.

Beautiful views and kids enjoyed the Pac Man game and that they had their own space.

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Seattle! The Airbnb was exceptionally cozy and clean, providing a comfortable retreat for our group. The host's attention to detail was evident with clean towels, a variety of snacks, and even a delightful selection of coffee. The thoughtful touch of a complimentary bottle of wine added an extra layer of warmth to our experience. The stay was awesome! So grateful for the central heat and fireplaces! All amenities worked good. Other than the house itself being a little on the "older" side it was very cozy and quaint. I have beautiful memories. Thank you Jake & Korie

The Highland Park neighborhood of West Seattle is a short drive to the Pike Place Market/Downtown Seattle area, and has fast and easy access to nearby neighborhoods: Georgetown, SODO (CenturyLink and Safeco Fields), and the California/Admiral junctions of West Seattle. A full-sized grocery store, Starbucks, and all the amenities of the Westwood Village shopping center are a 5-minute drive away. The Fauntleroy Ferry to Vashon Island is only a 10 minute drive away, as is Lincoln Park. The ever-popular Alki Beach is only 15 minutes away as well.
There are 2 parking spaces available in the driveway and there are a few street parking places nearby as well, but please note that the house is located on a narrow one-way street, so if you park on the street, be sure to park far enough over so that cars can pass--some spots may require you to park your passenger side wheel up on the sidewalk! Uber and Lyft service the area, as do traditional cab services. Nearby bus routes include the King County Metro 120, 128 and 131.

Hello! Korie and I (Jake) are huge fans of Airbnb. We've used it during our travels to Europe, South East Asia, and all over the US. We're also both passionate about community service, taking 2 years after high school to serve through a full-time volunteer program. This is also how we happened to meet each other, and we've been happily married for nearly 10 years. :) After purchasing our home in Seattle, we decided to make our daylight basement available to Airbnb guests. It is a great space and we hope you enjoy it! Tim, our co-host helps us with managing our Airbnb. He lives right down the street and he's been super helpful. With our busy schedules, we wouldn't be Airbnb hosts without him! We live upstairs and are usually busy with work, hanging out with friends, or enjoying the outdoors. We're both avid hikers and you'll usually find us on one of the awesome hikes within 2 hours of Seattle (happy to provide any suggestions if you're interested!).
