This is a great apartment in an ideal location. Close to light rail, Darling Harbour, Fish Markets and Star. The unit is clean, private and very comfortable. Our host was in constant contact, to ensure we had a fantastic stay
The location was great for us - easy access to public transport, coffee shop, places to eat and a supermarket. Loved the fact it had 2 bathrooms. We took advantage of the swimming pool and spa as well. Gabriel sorted out a little glitch quickly and politely . The apartment had everything we needed when resting after our big week of sightseeing
Pros - located close to darling harbour. If you have kids and a pram, it is convenient to walk (about 15-20 mins). Place is fairly clean. Bedsheets are clean. Host is friendly & very responsive. Cons - hated the fact that there was NO onsite parking. If you’re driving in from interstate or thinking of renting a car, keep in mind that you’ll have to pay extra for parking & commute some distance from a Wilson’s parking to the place. Very inconvenient if you have little kids in tow. There were also some yucky stains where the bathroom sink taps are however, and when we first entered, the bathrooms gave off a strong mouldy stench. Place didn’t come with a box of tissues, whereas every other Airbnb I’ve been to had one. Everyone uses tissue everyday and I just think it’s a nice gesture to leave one out for your guests. Very expensive place. I paid $500+ /night for this apartment. All in all, it wasn’t worth the price tag especially having to fork out extra $ for offsite parking.
Light Rail is located across the road. Woolworths Metro diagonally opposite. Approx 5 minute walk to Fish Markets. Approx. 10 minute walk to Star City. Approx. 15 minute walk to Darling Harbour. Restaurants & pubs nearby.
Light rail located across the road with trains to Central & Dulwich Hill. Bus to city nearby. Metered parking.
