The home was absolutely beautiful. We thought that maybe the professional looking photos were too good to be true, in the way that many listings can be, but they depict the house perfectly and communicate the space well. The kitchen was immaculate; a foodie’s dream, and very well organized. The theater room was a hit, and the gym is a feature that separates the house from many others of its kind. The master suite is obviously gorgeous, but no one staying in any of the other rooms felt short changed- a huge plus when trying to distribute quarters between a few families. The host could not have been more responsive or accommodating. We were truly grateful for how easy they made check in for us. Through no fault of theirs, we lost power for a few hours one night. The host checked in often with updates, and reminded us of the flashlights placed throughout the home. I honestly don’t know which impressed me more: the beauty and comfort of the house, or the attentiveness of the host.

This house was PERFECT for our family reunion! It is spotlessly clean and like stepping into the pages of House Beautiful. Every room is elegant and comfortable. The common areas were large enough for everyone to be in at once, with enough rooms to split off into smaller groups as well. We love to cook, and really put the kitchen through its paces. It had EVERYTHING we needed to make a sumptuous Thanksgiving feast and a pizza party the next day--and so well-organized that we never had trouble finding anything. The top-of-the-line appliances functioned flawlessly. We LOVED watching movies in the media room! Everyone slept well in the beds of varying firmnesses. Though the pool was closed for the season, my dogs enjoyed racing around the huge back yard to play ball. Jenna and Tony answered all questions quickly and clearly. We've stayed in many airbnbs, but this one we'll still be talking about in 20 years! It's a place to make memories with your family that will last a lifetime.

Amazing house. We had a great time in the pool and hot tub. The media room had some issues with turning on and had to work through them with the host, but nothing crazy. Lovely stay, looking forward to coming back.

We had a perfect stay at Merlin’s Escape! It was such a perfect spot for a reunion. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We definitely would stay again !

We loved our stay at this house! We gathered our extended family at this house for a week (7 adults and 3 kids) and had a fantastic week. The house was big, clean, and beautifully renovated. The backyard was gorgeous! The pool and jacuzzi were lovely, the deck was a great spot for grilling and eating meals, and there were lots of awesome toys/games/swingsets for the kids. Hanging out by the fire pit was a special treat and late night movies in the media room were a perfect way to end the day. Tony and Jenna (the hosts) were super responsive and exceptionally helpful. We highly recommend this house and would definitely come back next summer!
