Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This well appointed three-bedroom (one is set up as a dedicated office) home in the town of Rockland, just east of Ottawa. From here it is only a 35 minute drive to downtown Ottawa, Parliament Hill, national museums, the Byward Market, Rideau Canal and many other historic locations. The town of Rockland has many amenities including restaurants, shops, recreation centres, French and English schools. This home has a spacious living and dining room with a well-equipped kitchen. A patio door opens onto a private deck with a BBQ and large fenced in backyard with park access. The backyard is shared with the lower unit . The home has a two-car garage plus parking in the driveway for two cars. A work desk is provided with highspeed internet and wireless throughout. The building is a legal duplex. The Air BnB is the main ground level unit. There is a quiet tenant in a basement apartment below this unit.

Sheila e David sono dei “super host” e questo non è un caso, la loro infinita gentilezza e squisita ospitalità è iniziata sin dal momento della conferma della prenotazione. Con grande disponibilità e senza mai essere invadenti, loro hanno supportato il nostro ingresso e la nostra permanenza in questa bellissima casa che ci ha accolto in un momento importante per la nostra famiglia: siamo venuti a Rockland dall’Italia per il diciottesimo compleanno di nostra figlia che sta frequentando la locale Hight School! La casa di Sheila e David è ancora più bella ed accogliente di persona rispetto a quello che si può vedere nelle fotografie: l’arredamento è stupendo e tutto ciò che contiene risulta estremamente funzionale, anche in cucina c’è ogni cosa che possa servire. Le lenzuola e gli asciugamani sono di qualità. Ci sono due smart tv ed uno splendido giardino curato. Abbiamo trovato un vaso con i fiori freschi e i biscotti fatti in casa come segnale di benvenuto. Insomma, Eccellente!
Sheila was a great host. Very responsive and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay
Our house flooded and we needed to find somewhere fast, we found Sheila's listing and she made moving in for us such a relief, went out of her way to make us feel at home and made sure we got checked in quickly. We have a baby and work from home so we needed accommodations that would suit those needs, and the house checked every box. It was clean, bright and spacious and we got to discover great walking trails in Rockland, visited the café/greenhouses down the road, and was close enough to all the amenities we could need. What felt like a disaster at home felt like a crisis averted because of how easy everything was. would 100% recommend.
Sheila was very responsive. Everything worked well, no clutter and the garage use was an added bonus.

Residential neighbourhood. Park right across the street and access through the backyard to another green space.
There is garage parking in the double garage for 2 small vehicles or one large vehicle with two additional designated parking spaces in the driveway. The city does not have public transport. The town is a very walkable town.

I travel to a variety of places every opportunity I get, and I don't like or use all inclusive. Love to cook. There is nothing I can't live without, adapt and over come is my motto. I like things to be orderly, and clean. I generally dislike clutter in anything. My favorite thing to do is to listen to live music at outdoor venues. I am very independent and like to have the choice of sleeping in or not when on vacation.
