The home is nice/updated, the property is large for a group. The kitchen still needs some work but is useable. The price was good for the time and location and overall we were happy to have the place to stay. Unfortunately there is a water leak in the living room, from the mini split condensate drain, a large portion of the carpet wet enough you couldn't walk on it. The drywall was wet and swelling, and the baseboard was popping off. The leak was old enough there was obvious mold growing in places, and there was an musty smell in the room we noticed after removing the air fresheners that were plugged in, perhaps to cover up the smell. We would have tried to go elsewhere once we found the water damage, but it was a busy weekend and had not other option. We just avoided that part of the house as much as possible. Until the owner removes everything damaged and treats the affected areas for mold I would not stay there again, mold is dangerous and needs to be taken seriously.
