Gohering was very friendly when we arrived! Helped with the lock on the door and made us feel welcome. However, the noise of a grinder right below us (his personal home) went until 9:30 pm, non stop. Then there was a party with extremely loud music and people until around 2:00am. It was a nice enough place but we didn’t get any sleep or peace and quiet to hear the nature around us with the noise coming at all hours. It was quite disappointing.

The room is located beautifully with view of Arenal lake and volcano. Expect to live simple and primitive and please enjoy the local bar/restaurant "Howlers" the best atmosphere, great food, and free pool table. Gohering is a great host and please let him guide you for your daily adventures.

Todo muy bien del hospedaje, pero un detalle muy grande fue que nos comentó que iba a tener a 15 personas y que nos tenía que cambiar de hospedaje un día, el nos dijo que movería nuestras pertenencias y alimentos, accedimos (no teniamos problema pero tampoco es algo agradable ya que habíamos reservado desde antes) El mayor problema fue cuando llegamos al otro hospedaje ya que ni metieron nuestros alimentos al refrigerador Nos tiraron algunas cosas que ya teníamos preparadas. Solo ofrecieron un desayuno pero también cuando cambiamos de nuevo al hospedaje inicial igual nos faltó comida.

Endroit offrant une magnifique vue. Salomón qui habite à proximité est très aimable s’est assuré que notre arrivée s’était bien passée. Restaurant à proximité avec super bonne pizza et excellent service si vous n’utilisez pas la cuisine. La cabine était bien. Nous avons eu de très forts vents et beaucoup de pluie et un morceau de tôle n’a cessé de faire un bruit de claquette toute la nuit. Ce fut impossible de dormir. Les tentes de camping sembleraient très bien. Je recommande tout de même pour le décor et la tranquillité.

Host was great very kind, loved fishing, and the place was very good for the views on good weather conditions. This is a rural campsite not a luxury stay and nature people will love it as much as we did!!! This place will give you a very good experience with meeting new people and possibly making new friends as well!
