Welcome to our home! Cosy, quiet room in a contemporary house. Perfect for overnight stay or short term, if you need a place to get a good night’s sleep or a private retreat. The guest room is upstairs & has its own dedicated lounge area attached. The hosts (2 females) live here, but the guest area is very quiet & private. Our home is only 10 minutes from Brisbane airport & 15 mins to Entertainment Centre. The CBD is a 25 min drive. We're a short stroll to Nudgee Beach & Boondall wetlands. Our clean, modern, light-filled home is located in the laid-back beachside village of Nudgee Beach. You're guaranteed a good night's rest here, away from city noise and lights, and of course, conveniently located close to everything (by car/taxi). - Perfect for airport arrivals/departures anytime of the day or night (late night arrivals are fine) - Or perhaps you’re just looking for a relaxing, private retreat for 1-2 people. The guest area has been thoughtfully prepared and has all you need for a comfortable overnight or short term stay. No cooking facilities, however a cold box/esky can be provided upon request. Bowls/plates/cutlery are provided. The bedroom has a comfortable, medium/firm double bed with bamboo/cotton linen, a wardrobe & iron/board. Guests have their own private lounge area attached to the bedroom (with a split cycle air conditioner). There’s also a TV with Netflix and many other streaming options available to watch. Guests also have their own dedicated bathroom (accessed via hallway). You'll find a little refreshment station in the lounge area where you can help yourself to the coffee pod machine, tea/hot chocolate and snacks! Our home is a short walk to the beachfront and park area. There's also a lovely boardwalk through the nature reserve. Next door you'll find Pam's Café which serves good coffee, fish and chips, burgers, and some Vietnamese specials (closed Tuesdays). Banyo is a 7min drive away where you’ll find a few great restaurants and takeaway options. Also a Woolworths & chemist. Brisbane CBD is 25mins drive away or you can easily catch the train from Nudgee station. There’s also a bus stop 100m from the house. However please note, this only runs twice a day and not on Sundays. Longer term stays are also welcome, by request. We offer a discounted price for stays 7 days or more.
