Lovely home, with unique decoration and plenty of space for us, our daughter and our baby grandson. It's in a beautiful part of the world too, with easy walks to great coffee!
A very pleasant place to stay for a long weekend with a well-equipped kitchen. Close to the canal but shops etc are a short drive away.
We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Francesca's place. Great space, well designed home with lots of great art, furnishing, period details and peaceful location. Everything was provided to have a luxury weekend stay including logs, coffee, lovely welcome basket with treats. If your exploring Yorkshire you couldn't be better located, head up the canal side to Slaithwaite or Marsden for great shops, food and drink. No car needed great bus and train links. We finished the weekend with breakfast at Bolster Moor Farm shop and cafe. Highly recommend. Cant wait to return soon!
No complaints at all! The Place is full of character and has been lovingly restored by the owners. Modern yet sympathetic to the architecture. The area is really peaceful, full of rugged post - industrial beauty and close to some real thriving villages such as Slaithwaite and Marsden. Stunning walks easily accessible from the house including manageable strolls down the canal. Communication with Francesca was faultless and it was clear that she genuinely cared that we were as comfortable as possible. Despite the size of the rooms, the heating is excellent and we were cosy throughout our stay. Thanks!
