This sweet house is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Above a gallery, this spacious apartment is in walking distance to shopping, museums, restaurants, the ocean, harbor trail and the boardwalk. Parking on premises, washer/dryer in unit, and AC units.

This beautiful old building was full of charm and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed a very short 1 night, but it was comfortable, warm, and perfect for our needs.

-Only two blocks from The Farnsworth Museum. I love going to their park behind the building and having a picnic.
-Morning Coffee and Fresh pastries from Atlantic Baking Company
-Luce's gin tasting room for games while siping on a gin cocktail
-Shopping for vintage finds at Curator
-Hot yoga at Earth and Candy
-Buoy Park's sea sculptures including huge anchors

Me and my partner, Sally, bought our adorable in-town house in May of 2023. We live on the first floor (behind the gallery) with our dog, Edward. Rockland is still a small town with neighbors walking by to say hi and street's shutting down for art walk on First Friday's. We love it and hope you enjoy what we have named "Porch Culture" (taking it easy on the porch swing). Our ocean house is three minutes from Rockland and is a lovely retreat.
