What a great place for large families or groups who still want their own bedroom. Jon's place was located in a quiet neighborhood great for walks or hiking and filled with plenty of wildlife. His house itself is fabulous with great amenities and an awesome view. Jon was a great host.

Jon and Joy make sure that you have everything you need in the kitchen, baths, bedrooms to satisfy your stay. They have a deck with a gas bbq (needs a little cleaning and better maintenance) and a jacuzzi (which we did not use). The rooms are distributed in three levels, which may or not be convenient depending on the mobility capabilities of your party. It work well for us. However, the main area upstairs has three, rooms with only two baths. The shared bathroom has a tub placed inside a shower area, and it present a major fall risk. Also, there is no way of regulating the temperature when showering, and the water temperature was reported by my guests to be quite high. By contrast, guest occupying the bathroom located at the bottom of the property complained of showering in cold water.

Jon's Canyon Lake house was perfect for me and my family. We had a small family reunion for my dad's 90th birthday and this house was perfect. There was everything we could have needed available and the views were stunning! I'm also very grateful for how responsive Jon was to my messages. He responded mostly immediately to my questions and was there if we needed him for anything. there's also nice restaurants within 10-15 minutes drive if that and a CVS and food shops very near also. If we're ever in the area again we'd definitely stay here! Thank you Jon!
